The Soft Launch

Welcome to my website! The home for my creative writing! I’ve wanted to make a site for a year or so, even started a build on a different hosting platform, but 2020 had a way of shifting priorities. I’ve always envisioned having a place to direct people to where my writing can be found, as well as self publish some smaller stories for the sake of just getting them out there. It’s here that you’ll find small previews and fun artwork for each story I have out there as well as a direction as to where to find them.

With this being a soft launch, you’ll notice that as of right now, it’s a little barren. Lots of missing art, and only two short stories listed. I made the decision to post now, because why not? I’ve learned that if you wait until you are ready, it may never happen. Ready or not, do it. You can fix and improve things as you go along. Life lesson there!

So what exactly is here to see? Well like I mentioned there are two short stories, To The East, and ANGIE. They were my first two stories to get published in a physical form, so it felt right to me to highlight them. You can also see the artwork I recently had commissioned for ANGIE above! Pretty cool to see some visual representation of what I thought up one cold Saturday morning a few years past. Also outside of creative writing, I have a film blog (FilmFollowers.blog) where I post my reviews on movies. It’s been a slow time for the movie world but as more big films come out, expect a review on the blog!

That’s cool you say, but when is more coming?! This year! Quite a bit of it actually. I currently am working on two short stories that will be published in a local anthology by the middle of the year, and before that I want to revisit two digitally published stories of mine whose original homes no longer exist on the internet. These two stories will be reimagined, as they were both written almost a decade ago! They are called I AM and The Watcher. I AM will come first, with The Watcher to follow. They both should be published directly on this site this Spring!

All of this is to say, thank you for stopping by. This creative journey has been something I have wanted to do for ten years, and all it took was a pandemic to kick me into high gear! I look forward to sharing more with you in the coming months and years to come! Give me a follow on the socials for future updates!

Keep On Reading,
